CAMP PROGRAM INFO: In our program, campers engage in self-directed inquiry and play through explorations in art, nature, games, and collaboration with others. Campers are guided in elevating the skills they learn in pursuit of a richer and deeper understanding of our world. It is our mission to cultivate critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and lifelong learners who view the world through their artistic lens.
At Dancy Art Camp, we work to develop our understanding and sensitivity to the world. We explore ways to communicate ideas. We cultivate an awareness of human impact in everything we do, and we challenge ourselves to think critically. We grow in our thinking and understanding of our environment and interactions with it. We deepen our understanding of our limitations as human beings and our potential as such. We perpetuate a safe, nurturing environment in which we can freely investigate ideas. The ideas we explore communicate, invoke thought, challenge, have different perspectives, make connections, and guide us in living our most genuine lives.
